REWARD: reaching your health & strength goals
Staying motivated to do Physio exercises can often feel like a daunting challenge, and it’s perfectly normal to experience those ups and downs. Life gets busy, and sometimes it feels like maintaining your exercise routine is just another burden. But remember, there are ways to nurture your motivation and embrace a healthier you.

We are here to help! Together we will set realistic goals! Instead of overwhelming yourself with lofty aspirations, we will assist in determining achievable milestones to the meaningful end goal. So, first and most importantly, you must know your specific end goal!
What exactly do you want to achieve, what did you have to stop doing because of your injury, weakness, or pain?
After assessing and discussing goals with you, your physio will create the right exercise program at a level/frequency suitable to you.
All you have to do is COMMIT. 😊
Every small victory counts and deserves celebration, helping to reinforce your commitment to becoming stronger and healthier. So, stay in contact with your Physios, they will offer encouragement and help. This might be in the way of a weekly visit and class session, an email, or via the Physitrack app (exercise videos sent to your email inbox for you to follow).

Each visit, make sure that you fully understand the exercises. Ask questions. Go through each one thoroughly. Your Physio or Instructor will first demonstrate the exercise, repeat it, write it down for you. At the end, you should complete the exercises. They will assist you, provide constructive feedback, and ask you to repeat the exercise. This will develop muscle memory, so you know how to perform the exercises well at home or in the gym. Establishing a consistent routine will also provide a comforting sense of structure to your days.
By designating specific times and space in your home (or gym) for your exercises, you treat them as important appointments. This routine then creates a natural rhythm in your life, making exercise a regular part of your weekly schedule, that you look forward to. Finally, tracking your progress is a powerful motivator. We will re-assess and measure on each visit. Your daily chore that was hard to tackle is now a breeze.

But be aware of the necessary recovery between exercise loads, yes some develop an unhealthy addiction to their endorphin rush of exercises, too much too early may push you to depletion, or worse: injury
To maintain a healthy relationship with exercise, you must always balance between load and recovery- this is where you will build and thrive. Discuss any adverse pains after exercises with your physio!
Observing your improvements— in strength, stamina, or simply feeling more energized—will be a significant source of encouragement.
Finally, don’t underestimate the power of a support system.
Connecting weekly with others in the studio can be incredibly uplifting whether you join a studio class, clinical rehab, strength, or private session. Having a support network not only holds you accountable but also provides companionship and encouragement along the way.

In conclusion, your journey to a stronger healthier you is deeply personal, and it’s important to embrace it one step at a time. By setting realistic goals and engaging in sessions that you truly love, you can cultivate your motivation and succeed.
So, lace up your shoes, take those steps forward, and celebrate each moment you invest in creating a healthier, happier you.
You’ve got this!
