Our Clinical Rehabilitation Sessions are for people with a current injury or specific rehabilitation goals and are designed to improve the speed and quality of your recovery. These sessions are also ideal if you need ‘prehab’ prior to a surgery, rehabilitation following a surgery, or you simply want a suitable and safe environment in which to strive for your health goals.
Clinical Rehabilitation sessions are conducted by one of our experienced
Physiotherapists and customised to suit your individual needs.
Sessions include a combination of hands-on treatment and rehabilitative exercises and Clinical Pilates.
Our welcoming, fully-equipped studios provide unlimited movement possibilities to best address your personal goals.
In addition to working with injuries and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, we also love working with expecting mums.
Most of our physios are mums or a parent and two in specific have not only a special interest in this area but have also completed a post graduate education in woman s health.
Because we understand that during pregnancies, we may all encounter individual needs, we do not offer pre- and post-natal classes but rather care for our mums within a clinical rehabilitation session, either private or in a small group (2-3 clients per physiotherapist)

what to expect
Clinical Rehabilitation sessions may be eligible for rebates under your private health insurance extras cover or Medicare. If you’re not already an existing physiotherapy client of ours, you’ll need to book an initial assessment by one of our physiotherapists prior to attending clinical rehabilitation sessions as part of our commitment to delivering quality services that get real results. It gives us, and you, a baseline against which to measure your progress. Assessments are 1:1 with a physiotherapist and involve supervised exercises and physical tests, as well as:
- Taking your medical history
- Biomechanical measurements (e.g. range of motion, strength)
- Discussing and recording your goals
- Creating an individual exercise program for your rehabilitation sessions, and a home exercise program
- Demonstrating safe and correct exercise technique
- Physiotherapist-assessment of existing injuries or disabilities, and recommendations for management or treatment, or specialist referrals as appropriate
Hydrotherapy
Immersion in warm water naturally relaxes your muscles and alleviates joint pain, creating an ideal environment for gentle exercise. The water supports your body weight, significantly reducing discomfort and enhancing your joint mobility. Moving against the water’s resistance not only strengthens muscles but also offers therapeutic benefits.
Hydrotherapy is especially beneficial if you’re managing musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, recovering from joint replacement surgeries, or experiencing back pain. This treatment is designed to help you heal faster, stay active and improve your overall physical well-being.
Our Hydrotherapy sessions are held in a 25-metre heated pool at the nearby Cronulla Beach Swim School, adjacent to Cronulla Park, beach, esplanade and cafes. Talk to your Physiotherapist to assess your suitability for Hydrotherapy.
