Exercise Physiologist

Hayden Egerton

Hayden joined PPP in December 2025 with a background spanning clinical exercise physiology, rehabilitation, and performance coaching. He developed a particular interest in chronic and persistent pain through working with people navigating long-term pain, injuries, and the frustration of feeling stuck in recurring cycles. This shaped his approach: combining evidence-based exercise physiology with pain science, strength principles, and education-driven care tailored to each person in front of him.

Hayden is especially passionate about helping people who feel stuck in recurring pain reconnect with movement, confidence, and a sense of physical independence – whether that means returning to the gym, the surf, work, or simply moving through daily life with more ease. He has experience helping people manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including persistent and chronic pain, acute sports injuries, movement issues, post-operative rehabilitation, and return-to-activity programs. His clients span the full spectrum – from DVA, NDIS, and chronic disease management through to professional athletes including NRL players and elite long drive golfers. Whether you’re trying to get back to walking the dog without pain or chasing performance gains, his approach meets you where you’re at.

Hayden is also the creator of ‘The Pain Codex Model’ – an integrated pain management approach designed to help people better understand the relationship between stress, movement, recovery, and long-term pain patterns. Alongside private practice, he has delivered seminars and mentoring for exercise physiology and rehabilitation businesses and practitioners, with a focus on chronic pain and long-term performance.

Outside of the clinic, Hayden spends most of his time with his son Noah, getting out on the golf course whenever he can, and is rarely seen without an iced mocha in hand. You might also meet his Staffy, Harper, who occasionally accompanies him to the clinic and is generally more interested in pats than rehabilitation.
