Thomas Bayley

Bachelor of Sport & Exercise Science (WSU)
Masters of Physiotherapy (USyd)

Privileged to grow up in the Sutherland Shire, Tom spent much of his youth down by the beach surfing in Cronulla. After a spinal fracture and enduring chronic pain, from an injury whilst surfing at Cronulla’s Shark Island, Tom spent the next 18 months rehabbing at PPP. Tom wanted to understand what exactly was happening and how he could get back to doing what he loved and this spawned his passion for Physiotherapy. Two years after his accident (with encouragement from Barbara) Tom decided to pursue a career in Physiotherapy and spent the next five years at university where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science and a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.

Tom prides himself on giving the very best care to his patients with an emphasis on education, exercise and self-management strategies to deal with their injury.  He enjoys keeping up to date with the latest research and places importance on a holistic approach to treatment incorporating rest & recovery, stress management and lifestyle factors to ensure he can devise an attainable treatment plan for his clients.

In his spare time Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, two young children and dog down by the beach chasing the sun.
